TAS5828M: DRB

This device does have the DR Boost feature. What is the customer trying to achieve by modifying the DRboost registers?

We do not recommend turning DRboost off as the device was characterized with this enabled. What are they trying to achieve by disabling DRboost?

Ever since this customer used to face on TAS5825P noise issue, TI recommended a solution of DRB optimization, e.g. analog gain=0, disabling DRB, decreasing DRB effect. This is the reason he is asking this question.

Thank you very much. The customer understood DRBoost disable by specific register access though, he has two last questions.

- Could you suggest him the way of enabling DRBoost register access ?

- Could you suggest him if there are any potential issue or side effect if he disable DRBoost ?

To enable DR boost, just change the script to write 0x3a = f9. (f8 is to disable DRboost)

The main side effect will be higher idle channel noise.
