PGA2320: PGA2320 3.3V SPI

I have a PGA2320 I am using for gain control. It will run on +/- 15V analog rails and I will

have a +5 digital supply. However my micro controller is an STM 32 running at 3.3V. I have seen designs

where this seems to work fine without level shifting. Am I going to have any issues?

Hi Joe,

The PGA2320 sees the logic high and low levels as shown below.

So there isn't an issue using 3.3V levels. The PGA2320 will output 5V logic. Can the STM device handle that?

Output 5V logic?? Looks like all the pins I am going to use on the PGA are inputs??

Are you referring to the SDO pin?

Hi Joe,

Yes I was referring to the SDO pin if you were daisy chaining multiple PGA's or reading data back.
