PCM5310 VCOMAD VCOMDA current capabilities?

Hello,

Are the VCOMAD, VCOMDA, VREFAD1 all 1/2 power supply outputs (or are they inputs)?

If they are outputs, what are their driving strength in mA?

I'm using single supply OPAMp I/O circuit, so may I connect VCOMAD, VCOMDA, VREFAD1 together and use them on OP-Amp as common voltage) or if they are inputs what are their input currents demands?

Is there any example schematic for PCM5310 usage? (I was using PCM3052 before and it was all stated clear in datasheet...)

Hi Darko,

The VCOM and VREF pins will have to be buffered. A high input impedance is required for the buffer. I will respond asap with the specifics of the capabilities of these pins. The datasheet does recommend that the VCOM and VREF pins have a 1uF cap to GND, located as close as possible to the pin.

Hi Darko,

VCOMAD=1/2*VCCAD, VCOMDA=1/2*VCCDA, VREFAD1=1/2*VCCAD.

These pins are output but, can not drive any external components with the use a a buffer.

I am still looking for a schematic for you with this part.
