TAS2563: Weak Echo Reference Signal from Smart Amp

We are currently using the TAS2563 Smart Amp (SA) in our product that is a two way communication device with our internal DSP. 

In our binary generation as shown in the picture below, we set the channel 0 and 1 to audio out, so that we can use one of the channels as echo reference. The problem we are seeing at the moment is that the signal level in the echo reference channel is weak. It is quite likely that the signal is coming from "audio in" because mute or volume chance (DVC) does not affect the echo reference. 

We do not know if this a bug, but we need urgent support on this. Is it possible to toggle with the registers in this case?
