TAS2563: Weak Echo Reference Signal from Smart Amp

We are currently using the TAS2563 Smart Amp (SA) in our product that is a two way communication device with our internal DSP.

In our binary generation as shown in the picture below, we set the channel 0 and 1 to audio out, so that we can use one of the channels as echo reference. The problem we are seeing at the moment is that the signal level in the echo reference channel is weak. It is quite likely that the signal is coming from "audio in" because mute or volume chance (DVC) does not affect the echo reference.

We do not know if this a bug, but we need urgent support on this. Is it possible to toggle with the registers in this case?

Hi Vaishta,

Can you please check the value on registers 0x39 to 0x37 and 0x38 to 0x3b from Page 9?
Attached is a brief document with some information about these registers, it can be used to double check if the selected data is properly set in the device registers.

I checked the document that you have shared, and realized that the example is in PDM mode. Is it possible to get the echo reference stream in Smart Speaker Mode?

What is the difference between between AUDIO OUT and ECHO REFERENCE in the selection menu?
