TAS5825M: EQ and AGL

Hi ti team,

We are using the TAS5825M in a new project, with four modules enabled: EQ, DEQ, DRC, and AGL. When integrating the TAS5825M.h file into the BT main controller, we found that only DEQ and DRC work properly, while EQ and AGL do not take effect.

In addition, I noticed that this issue does not occur when initializing the chip via the TAS5825M GUI using the TAS5825MEVM. Please help analyze the cause. Thanks

Hi Switch,

It sounds like there could be an issue with your drivers I2C configuration, the EQ and AGL could be getting initialized improperly.

Can you do a register dump of the EQ/AGL registers or all registers on your board when this issue occurs?

Hi Switch,

I didn't notice any issues with your PPC3 and had tested this on the EVM with no issues.

There is likely an issue with your drivers I2C config. If you can readback the EQ/AGL I2C registers on your board when this issue occurs, we can verify if they're getting initialized properly.
