PCM2912A: temperature range and cold start

Part Number: PCM2912A

The specification of the part under abslute maximum ratings section,  states low ambient temperature of -40 Deg C. But the operating free air low temperature is -25 Deg C. So does the component supports -40 Deg C cold start? is it allowed for normal operaion. does the low temperature demand is because of reduced performance, or is it required because of MTBF issue.

    Hi Adi,

    There is risk of reduced performance outside of Recommended Operating Conditions. So for normal operation, I recommend above -25C. Below this, the part will not be damaged, but reduced performance is likely. There is risk of permanent damage below -40C operating temperature.
