PCM6240-Q1: VREF and input attenuation

Part Number: PCM6240-Q1

Hi expert,

  1. Vref pin's voltage is meaused 2.7V,  what is the the relation between AD convert and reference voltage?
  2. It has low swing mode and high swing mode in mic application.    Is input attenuation 14dB or 20dB? Can it attenuate in both high and low swing mode?
  3. Line in mode, the relation is 10Vrms-->1FS; MIC input, is low swing 2Vrms-->1FS? Is high swing 10Vrms-->1FS?
  • 1. Vref 2.75V enables a full-scale 2Vrms differential and 1Vrms single-ended input.

    2. Input attenuation is 14dB in high swing based on 10Vrms full-scale differential line input in high swing versus 2Vrms in low swing.

    3. Line input full-scale in high swing is 10Vrms, Mic input must obey the below conditions.

    Best,

    Garret
