TLV320ADC5140: TLV320ADC5140 error between batches

Hi,

We are utilizing the TLV320ADC5140 for differential measurement purposes instead of audio processing. We have noticed a large part-to-part variation across different units (up to +/-3.5% measurement error while the input remains the same).

Could you provide the maximum device-to-device error specifications (e.g., DC offset and gain error tolerances) for the TLV320ADC5140?

Hello,

The gain error across devices may be as high as 0.5dB. Since these are audio devices, they are not necessarily trimmed for precision measurement.

Hi,

So there are no other parameters available such as full-scale error, offset error, non-linearity error? Other ADCs of TI have these parameters available.

Hi Yasmine,

These parameters are not as relevant to an audio application. I suggest taking a look at our Precision ADCs if these parameters are significant for your application.
