TAA5242: power reboot wait time

Hello,

Our customer has a question about power down to power reboot wait time definition described in TAA5242 datasheet "7.3 Power Supply Recommendations".

Would it be possible to suggest whether "at least 100ms" wait time is defined either 1) clock stop to clock restart wait time or 2) power down to power reboot wait time (see the attachment).

If the wait time is defined 2) power down to power reboot, could you also let us know if any daigous issue or troble are expected ?

He is concerned about a power reboot case without fully discharging AVDD or IOVDD.

Hi,

1. Your second guess is correct. There must be 100 ms between the device powering down and rebooting.

2. The 100 ms is required to shutdown internal blocks/circuitry. Without waiting 100ms, the device may not reboot properly

I understand that the reason at least 100ms wait time until reboot AVDD, IOVDD, needed is for the time fully reset TAA5242.
