Hi Craig,
The differences you are seeing in the OPA2132 can be attributed to the PCN found HERE. This PCN change is part of TI’s multiyear plan to transition products from our 150-millimeter factories to newer, more efficient manufacturing processes and technologies.
It is common to get differences in diode voltages when devices transition to different factories. Usually this is a result of the ESD cell diode's forward voltage differences. Since an ICT test usually is just checking to see the diode voltages and make sure the device is soldered, many times the test limits can be adjusted to new test limits.
Here is an app. note describing ESD cells, along with some description at the end of different ESD voltages for the same device on a new process:
https://www.ti.com/lit/an/spva018/spva018.pdf
I would check to make sure the circuit is still functional for the normal application's operation, but for ICT test limits, the new die would be expected to show different ICT test values.

Mike
The detail provided relates to p/n OPA2132. The issue we have is with OPA4132UA. The PCN link to 20231219008.1 does not list OPA4132UA as an impacted device. Do you have a separate PCN which lists p/n OPA4132UA we can share with our customer?
Hi Craig,
My apologies. Here is the 4132 PCN. The changes will be basically the same, though, the data sheet covers the single, dual and quad device.

Changes are listed in the Revision History section of the data sheet.

Hi Craig,
I started at Burr-Brown in 2000, right before the acquisition. Why do you ask?
Regards,
Mike
Hi Craig,
Only the TI marked versions of OPA4132UA are still being manufactured. It is possible to receive Burr-Brown marked products due to a backlog of shelf stock, particularly from third party distributors; however, the OPA4132UA now only has the manufacturing flow where the units are labelled as "TI" instead of Burr-Brown.
Please let me know if you have further questions.
Best regards,
Carrie
Hi Craig,
The PCN affects both the Burr-Brown and TI marked devices. The Burr-Brown version ceased manufacturing in 2024, but if you provide an image of the lot information from the shipping label, I can look it up and confirm the lot details of the lot you received.
Best,
Carrie
Thanks for the assistance, Carrie. The OPA4132UA die change PCN states "Proposed First Ship Date 9/11/24". If the Burr-Brown version ceased manufacturing in 2024 as reported below, how can we tell which versions of the Burr-Brown marked OPA4132UA's contain the new vs. old die? Should we presume any TI marked OPA4132UA with a date code beyond 9/11/24 contains the new version of the die?
Hi Craig,
Yes, that is correct. Any OPA4132UA device manufactured after 9/11/24 contains the new version of the die.
Best,
Carrie
