This is my first time trying to develop an audio wearable (eg. like a walkie-talkie)
I have these:
-AIC3256USBEVM
-Pure Path Studio.
I would like to achieve the following functions as mentioned in this diagram:
My objective:
-Mic noise gate (to eliminate the white static background noise -> only voice needed)
-Echo cancellation (because Physically the mic is situated close to the speaker eg. Walkie talkie)
-need to adjust the speaker volume (stereo ground reference speakers)
-Tone generations (eg.a beep sound when max volume is reached etc. )
-Dynamic range control (to make sure the voice data is clearer & not sounding metallic etc.)
-48 Khz possible or better to stay with 44.1Khz?
-My future MCU which manages this codec is PIC32MM.
how to achieve this in pure path studio? what block diagrams i need to use?
My Current explorations:
I achieved Spotify audio playback from this below setup. But I checked with the mic, and the mic input didn't function (sound recorder app in windows pc). I connected a Samsung wired 3.5mm headset with a mic in it to test.
Please let me know how I can achieve this. Need assistance.
