CC8520 and TLV320AIC31xx Audio codec individually controlled by micro controller

All,

I have an application which needs an Audio codec sending i2s data to the 8520, both to be digitally controlled by a micro controller to adjust the paramters of the codec in run time.

Do I have to setup the 8520 for a digital receiver in this case?

Can someone point to an example using PPWC please.

    Hi MD, 

    In the configurator you will have to select DSP (generic digital audio device) as the selected device in the Audio Interface panel. 
    The clock source will need to reflect the choices available.
