I am using the TLV320AIC26 and can set the DAC gain levels during the initialization but when I try to change the DAC gain levels while it is operating, nothing changes. I can change the sidetone levels while the system is operating but the DAC gain does not change when I enter new attenuation numbers. Is this an illegal operation? It seems the same routine I use to change the sidetone levels should work with the DAC gain levels. Is the a bit that needs changed so that I can change DAC gain levels while it is operating?
