CC85xx external clock

Hello,

I am using the cc8531DK Headset to transmit data. But as i would like to transmit 4 audio channels in PCM (16 or 24), i have to use 2 master cards and 2 slave cards. I would like to synchronize the 2 masters so the signals i receive on the slaves are synchronized too.

My problem is that i am trying to give the master cards an external clock, but when i pair the cards together, they put themselves in a standby mode.

To be able to configure the cards this way in the purepath wireless configurator, i have modified the codec file so i can activate this external clock. I have tried to input this external clock on all the clock pins (MCLK, BCLK, WCLK) but nothing change.

Where should i input my external clock so it works ?

    Hi Hugo, 

    Do you have a good external clock generator? 

    What you can try as an alternative is to set one of the master as internal and the other as external and use the CC85xx internally generated clock of the one act as input to the other.
