Hello,

  I'm using TPA3110D2 EVM now, and I'm facing some problems: The EVM worked well before I used a multimeter to measure the voltage of each pin without any connnection of input and load. While after the measurement, the EVM board seems to go wrong, the DC output voltage without input and load are about 1.4V and 2.8V of channel 1, 2.8V and 2.8V of channel 2. When I connect my input and speaker to the EVM board, the output sound quickly dies after giving the power supply. Each time I cycle the power supply, the output sound disappearing repeats.

  Could you please give me some suggestions?

    Hi, Vinci,

    You have fried the chip. You can either buy another EVM, or you can order a free sample IC and replace it.

    It seems like the one input that measures 1.4V has a problem, and it's causing a DC offset across the inputs which is, of course, tripping our DC Detect. I suppose it could be as simple as some crud on the PCB dragging the bias down, but I suspect something like ESD or EOS damage on the pin.
