AIC3105 Reset Question

We have an issue on our board where the AIC3105 is not always getting reset properly. The reset is driven by an MCU and we've had problem with both a "no pull-up" and a "100K pull-up" configuration.

However we noticed that the problem went away when we hooked up the scope probe, so we changed the PCB so the reset is tied to GND via a 1M Ohm resistor and the problem went away.

Can you confirm that this OK?

    Hi,

    Hopefully you saw my message back to the customer. I don't see that this would cause any problems but I am also not sure what problem this is solving. Without know anything about the MCU logic pin that is driving reset, I would think this would work without a pull up.
