PCM9211 / PCM 2902C

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM9211, PCM2902C

Hi

I am designing an audio IO board for a PRO audio application, the device will have SPDIF IN and OUT  to allow a daisy chain of the devices together passing stereo audio along the chain.

So far the only device that I see that is exactly what I need is the PCM2902C, however the PCM2902C has a 16 bit resolution, for this application it is not suitable.  so I am looking at the PCM9211, which has the SPDIF In and Out and an ADC in the input,  but does not have a DAC output to convert back to analog.  Does TI make a device that is functionally equivalent to the PCM2902C but has 24 bit 96K resolution and does not require a host processor (runs in standalone mode)? If not is there a DAC that runs as standalone that can be added to the PCM9211 to make it functionally equivalent to the PCM 2902C?
