Hi everybody.
Is there a way of reading out the configuration parameters of an already programmed CC85xx device using the CC debugger and the PurePath Wireless Configurator, or another dedicated tool?
Best regards,
Torje N. Thorsen

Hi Torje,
No this is not possible. Why do you want to do this?

Hi,
I am using a third party PurePath Wireless USB dongle as a master device for prototyping purposes, and I would like to configure my own slave devices so that they can join this network. As the USB dongle is contained in a closed box which I do not want to crack open for reprogramming, I would like to read out the configuration of its corresponding slave device in order to be able to select the right formats, channel assignments, filtering, etc for my own slave devices.
I guess such a feature could be interesting for other purposes as well (troubleshooting, test, prototyping). I.e. any time one would like to know the configuration state of a device without changing it through reprogramming, for example reading out the specific product ID of one given device of a production batch.
Best regards,
Torje
Hi Torje,
Most likely the dongle has a pairing filter, and requires that slaves that wants to join must have the same manufacturing ID.
Bets regards
