We have finalized a layout and prduct design.  We are going through testing and we are only getting about 1 to 2 meter distance. 

Our antenna was just matched by Antenova.  We are using this desgin with an amplifier with a switching freq of 384k.  

I have attached our wireless portion schematics.

    Hi Patrick, 

    A couple of things you can check out:
    - make sure you have set range extender to "CC2590 (HGM)" for both transmitter and receiver
    - check your output power and carrier frequency using our PurePath wireless commander PC tool: http://www.ti.com/tool/purepath-wl-cmd
    - this tool can also be used to check RX performance

    If you have access to a TI development board with the CC85xx then this can be used for comparison and "golden" unit with the commander tool.
