PCM1798 Output Current Per Pin.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM1798

Dear,

In the PCM1798 data sheet is stated: "Differential Current Output: 4 mA p-p" Further in the data-sheet is stated: "The current of the PCM1798 on each of the output pins (IOUTL+, IOUTL-, IOUTR+, IOUTR-) is 4 mA p-p at 0 dB (full scale)" However if EACH pin output 4mA p-p, the Differential output should be 8mA p-p. If I assume each pin current output is 4mA, I get double the output voltage from the schematic in fig24 of the PCM1798 data-sheet. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a typo in the data-sheet? My guess is, the differential output is 4mA p-p, but each individual pin outputs 2mA p-p. That way the calculations for fig24 are correct as well.

Can anyone shed some light into this?

Thanks in advance
