Hello everyone,
I was thinking about connecting a simple usb mp3/wav player in my LM4702C based power amplifier, someone knows about some IC or ICs that I can use to do this task, I want something not very complicated to use just as simple audio file player, and about SPDIF converting there's some IC or ICs to do this task?
I was thinking about using
PCM2900B or PCM2902B, but I'm not sure if this is a good ideia.
I will have also use other analog inputs how I can do the input signal multiplexing, is there some simple audio processor or analog multiplexer with 8 or more inputs?
Thank you very much for your attention,
Best Regards,
Daniel Almeida
Hi Daniel,
It appears that the PCM2900B and PCM2902B are not recommended for new designs. The PCM2902C would be the correct device if this is what you choose.
I did a quick search on multiplexers on the TI website and came up with the following:
For signals less than 5V:
http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/logic/analog-switch-multiplexer-less-5v-products.page
For signals greater than 5V:
http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/logic/analog-switch-multiplexer-greater-5v-products.page?paramCriteria=no
You can see more options if you deselect the 8 channel option.
If these don't meet your needs please feel free to some searching in some of the other parametric tables.
Best Regards,
JD
