Digital mic on AIC3254

Hi,

I have an analog mic routed via the DSPs and onto the headphones work successfully. My actual motive was to do this with a digital Mic which I am currently pursuing. The Mic's data line is connected to DIN and the MISO of codec clocks to the mic. I checked the clock and data seem to exist when I run my system so certainly it has to do with the routing. Can I reuse my analog mic config and just modify the paths for the Digital Mic and will this work for me? (which I have tried but in vain)

Do I need to decimate this PDM signal too by passing it via the ADC?

Is there any base configuration or example available that will simplify this for me? Any pointers will also do

[Solved]

My bad, I had the digital mic connected on pin 8 [SCLK] and trying to work it out from pin 4 (DIN) as input.

To summarize the efforts, I created a project on pure path that would set up the ADC and DAC interconnect (including the processing), then I set the right route (analog mic to Headphones),got this working. Then I simply replaced the input paths up to ADC, directly with the digital mic registers (Just 3 of them 54/56, reg 55 & reg 81). It works!
