Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM1795, PCM1792
Hi all
Could you let me know whether PCM1795 can be used instead of PCM1704U ? in an old design so no possibility to reinvent !
Thanks
If not, what would you advise ?

Bill,
What are your system requirements? Are you looking for a pin-to-pin compatible option, or are you able to have some flexibility? I don't believe we have any pin-to-pin compatible alternatives. The PCM179x is a good start for >120dB DNR performance, though the 1795 is 32 bits and other devices such as the PCM1792 are 24 bits (and lower noise floor). If a DNR spec is more 111dB range (like the PCM1704) then the 20-pin H/W programmable PCM510x family may be good as well.
