Hello,

We a customer, Lockheed Martin, that needs a Linux compatible driver for the PCM2904. I can find Windows drivers at http://implitech.com/manufacturers/texas-instruments/usb-pcm2904-audio-codec/. Where can I find Linux drivers?

One more detail. The Linux version being used is Redhat.

HI John:

We had similar question before, and my understanding is that you do not need a proprietary driver for the PCM29xx, the driver is already built in Linux. They work with OSX, Windows and Linux.. Can they check.

As long as the OS supports USB Audio Class, the device should be plug-and-play.

Hello sir We have customer plan to use PCM290x on Linux OS.

MPU:AM35XX OS:Linux

・Customer would like to have detail about how to use pcm290x on Linux OS. ・Is there any good Application Note or Linux os base driver software recommendation ?

・Does Linux driver of Sitara SDK include USB driver software for PCM290x ?

・Can we have number of version of Linux driver which support PCM290x?

The PCM2904 is compatible with USB class-audio so it will work with a standard USB-class audio compatible Linux driver.
