Hello guys,
I've got TAS5707EVM2 gerbers from TI's support and already produced some pieces of it but I can't fint the BOM.
Could TI provide this BOM?
Best Regards,
André Rairan.

Hi, André. I've attached a BOM for the AD-mode filter configuration and the BD-mode filter configuration. I hope they are useful to you.
6116.BOMs_EVMBoards_TAS5707EVM2-AD_BOM.xls
8015.BOMs_EVMBoards_TAS5707EVM2-BD_BOM.xls
If you need any review of AD-mode filters vs. BD-mode filters, please have a look at our LC Filter Design Guide: 2821.Class-D_LC_Filter_Design_sloa119a.pdf

Thanks a lot for that!
I have one more question: What's the difference between EVM and EVM2?
Thanks again and best regards,
André Rairan.
Hi, André. If you see a number after "EVM", it just means another version. The EVM2 version is designed so that you can swap between AD-mode output filters and BD-mode output filters, but the EVM (not 2) version isn't designed with that flexibility.
This is different from our part numbers. For instance, if you see TPA3111D1 and TPA3110D2, the number there indicates the number of output channels.
It looks like you're pretty new on the E2E forums as well, so welcome! I hope you enjoy what you find here.
Best Regards,
Matt
Great!
Thanks for fast replying it again. It was my first post on E2E and I'm pretty surprised with the great support here. For sure I'll use it more!
Another (obvious) doubt: I can use TAS5707A instead of TAS5707, right?
What is the difference between them? I could not find any on DS, only I2C address is different.
Best Regards,
André Rairan.
Hi, André. You can definitely use either the TAS5707 or the TAS5707A.
Believe it or not, the different I²C address is enough of a reason (and the only reason in this case) to have two parts. I've seen designs where a digital audio source will put one channel into a TAS5707, and another channel into a TAS5707A. The I²C master device can control both amplifiers on one I²C bus because they have different slave addresses. That way, the two channels have independent control.

Matt
Hi,
I can't find the gerber file about TAS5707EVM.
Could Ti provide TAS5707's gerber?
