TSC2100EVM question.

Hi.  I'm interested in evaluating the audio section of this eval board.  Prior to purchasing the TSC2100EVM eval board, I was wondering if someone can answer the following question.   Currently, I don't have a touch screen to interface over the J2 input port.  Can the menus also be controlled by a mouse over the PC's USB port or is the menu selection only made possible with a touch screen connected?

Any info would be appreciated.
