problems with LME49830 and encrypted library

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

I use the spice model LME49830 to simulate my schematics.
The file lme49830.lib uses an encrypted part. This library does not work within LTSpice.
Do you have a special library for use with LTSpice ?
Please advice.

best regards,
Joachim Krüger

  • Hi Joachim,

Unfortunately, LTspice is not one of the normal platforms that the modeling group supports. Sometimes the models will work ok in LTspice, but if they don't behave the same as in TINA or Pspice, there isn't much they can do.

We do not have a special library for use with LTspice.

TINA-TI is free of charge and there is a TINA-TI Reference Design model all set up and available in the LME49830 folder. This would be an expedient way to evaluate the IC's capabilities.

  • Dear John,

thanks for your answer. My preferred simulation tool is LTSpice, it is also a "standard" in audio schematic simulation. I will check, if the simulation tool TINA-TI is convenient for my needs.

    best regards,
