Test SP$M Post - Please Ignore

Hi,

I am using the following DSP development boards which uses TMS320F2812 for the purpose of developing control algorithms:

1. http://scientechworld.com/moredetail.php?id=107

2. http://www.pantechsolutions.net/products/dsp-dsc-boards/tms320f2812-tyro

I am using Embedded Targets blocksets from Matlab to generate the Make files and Code Composer Studio Version 5.3 to program the DSP

Both the boards worked fine in the beginning but after few days of testing, the Emulator [XDS100 Version 2] couldnot recogninze the DSP throwing the following error while we try to connect:

Error while using XDS100V1:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -1015 @ 0x0)
Device is not responding to the request.  Device may be locked, or the emulator connection may be unreliable. Unlock the device if possible, and power-cycle the board. If error persists, confirm configuration and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK).
(Emulation package 5.0.872.0)

Error while using XDS100V2:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -183 @ 0x0)
The controller has detected a cable break far-from itself.
The user must connect the cable/pod to the target.
(Emulation package 5.0.872.0)

And the DSP is excessivly getting heated. We used the XDS 100 Version 1 JTAG emulator to connect the same DSP board but we are getting the same error.

Note that both the DSP has same error.

We had a doubt with the emulator so we connected both the emulator with ezDSP F2812 and it worked fine.

Hence we are sure that there is problem with the DSP.

Can anyone explain me why this problem occur. It will help me in saving the further DSP boards.?
