TMS320C5535 eZdsp?

I'm a total newbie to audio DSP and was thinking of purchasing a TMS320C5535 eZdsp development kit for a project.  I'm hoping for some input on if this is the way to go.  

Basics are of my project are:

1) Single mono audio input

2) 2 additional audio inputs for noise canceling (might it be easier to do this analog before the input to a DSP?)

3) Equilizer

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for posting to e2e, and for your interest in TI products!

    Unfortunately, we don't support the TMS320C5535 eZdsp development kit in the audio forum. I see you've posted essentially the same question in the c5000 forum, so hopefully the guys there will answer your questions.
