AIC3254: DAC frequency in case of using miniDSP.

Hi community member,

Please let me confirm the following question.

When use the miniDSP for DAC, does the limitation of DOSR range apply?

Regarding to the "Application Reference", the limitation was defined as below.

"In all cases the DOSR range is limited by the following Condition.

2.8MHz < DOSR* DAC_FS < 6.2MHz"

But, according to the PLL calculator in Control Software(CS), when used miniDSP for DAC, it seems that the settings value does not hold by this limitation.

Hi Kaka,

Strictly speaking, you could go below the spec, but the out of band noise starts to creep into the audible range - it will not cause any reliability issues.
