My application requires following two features:
1. The analog audio inputs to the PCM5310 Codec will be three microphone signals that get passed to the serial data inputs SDIN1 and SDIN2 of the TAS3204.
2. The analog outputs of the PCM5310 Codec will be two stereo signals that are received from serial data outputs SDOUT1 and SDOUT2 of the TAS3204.
Questions
Is the PCM5310 compatible with the TAS3204 Serial Audio Port (signals, clocking rates, timing, sampling rates, etc.)?
If compatible, which PCM5310 pins connect to TAS3204 pins SCLK-IN, LRCLK_IN, SDIN1, SDIN2, SCLK-OUT, LRCLK_OUT, SDOUT1, SDOUT2. Do I operate the TAS3204 SAP (Serial Audio Port) in Master mode or in Slave mode? Are there any timing parameters that need to be selected/enabled?
If the PCM5310 is not compatible with the TAS3204, then does TI have other audio codecs that are compatible with the TAS3204?
