Hi,

I have a PCM2704 sample and I followed the datasheet in order to connect all the necessary stuff to enable the USB connection but the host cant enumerate the device.

How should I debug the problem now?

    Hi Nuno,

    Are you using one of our PCM2704 evaluation modules or are you using it in an independent design?  If it is the latter, can I view your schematic?

    Hi Nick,

    It's an indenpent design based on the datasheet. I have followed the schematic and tried to put everything minimal.

    I only have a screenshot right now from the last time I worked on this. Its missing the usb cable.

    The schematic is on the datasheet. That schematic is supposed to be the minimal necessary, right?

    Hi Nuno,

    Yes, the schematic shown on the datasheet is a good example of a reference design, but it does not necessarily represent a stand-alone system.  A better reference for you would be the schematic of our evaluation module for the PCM2704.  It is a complete, functional system, so comparing your system to it will greatly help your debug process.  You can download the user guide (complete with the schematic) here:
