About CC85 xx_CC2590 EM_Schematic.pdf

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2590

Hello

Thank you for always giving a reply.

There is a question about CC85 xx_CC2590 EM_Schematic.pdf.

R241 is shown in the circuit diagram of CC85xx and CC2590, and it is possible to mount resistance.

When I looked at a parts list, it was written that R241 was unnecessary.

Is R241 required for what kind of case?

Is R241 a terminator?

Or is it a temporary pad?

Or are other parts mounted?

When R241 considers it as the terminator of a pattern, I think that resistance will be about

100ohms, but is it right?

I beg your kindness.

  • Hi Hirokuni san,

R241 is just a placeholder (footprint) for a potential matching component. This can be either a capacitor or inductor. The component was placed for good measure, just in case additional matching in the RF path was required. However, measurements have shown that for the CC85xx-CC2590 combo this component will not be required and you can omit it entirely.

    Cheers,
