Tx Rx timming of CC8530 and CC2533

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2533, CC8530

Dear Sir,

We need to submit approval of R&TTE and FCC in this week. So, I'm prepareing the document about the RF operation of CC8530 and CC2533. For CC8530, there is master and slave. Both master and slave also do Tx and Rx in given time slot. So, I wanted to know the Tx % and Rx % of the time slot.
For CC8530, It can delivery 4 audio channel. So, the master Tx time to send audio to slave is 50% air time. Slave side can send 1 audio channel back to master. So, the slave Tx time is 25% air time. The rest of 25% air time is in Rx mode. Please advice my understanding correct or not.

Please also give me idea about timing information of CC2533.

  • Hi Edwin,

To determine the duty cycle of the CC85xx devices I need the device configurations for the master and slave(s). The duty cycle of the CC2533 devices is specific for your application, so I suggest we take this discussion off line.

    Best regards
