Configuration for PCM5310 at PurePath Config tool for CC8530

Hello,

I have a customer that are trying to use the CC8530 with the codec PCM5310, but they didnt found this codec at the "PurePath Wireless Configuration Tool".

I saw and said any codec with I2S communication could operate with the CC8530 but do you know how we can configurate this devices at PurePath Wireless Configuration Tool?

Do you know if have a way to insert this codec PCM5310 or some IC that works equal at the Configurator?

    Hi Flavio, 

    This can be added by yourself. Please read and understand the 'Audio Device Definition Files' segment in the Configurator Help menu. The CC85XX User Guide will come handy when doing this and so does the PCM5310 datasheet with all the register information. When adding support for a new device you will need to understand the volume control portion on the 'Audio Device Definition Files' as well as the state sequences for the audio device (section 3.5.3 in the CC85XX User Guide). 

    Hope this gets you going and allow you to support this codec.
