I've been trying to get the AEC algorithm to work and have so far had zero luck. I'm using a TLV320AIC3254-EVM-K with the provided AEC Analog I/O. I've followed the application note although it does not address an analog i/o situation. I have adjusted the parameters all the way down to half-duplex and I still can't really tell if the algorithm is doing anything at all. Turning it on and off doesn't seem to make much of a difference in the amount of echo. I toggle the included multiplex option turning the algorithm on and off and it does affect the noise level, but the echo always makes it through. I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing wrong at this point. Any suggestions?
