Questions regarding DSP TDM interface in C8530

Dear All,

Please confirm whether below mentioned configuration is possible or not ?

DSP TDM with 6 or more audio channel sent to master in Mono input base station application mode in PPWC

each logical stereo audio channel as mentioned in Table 9 (C85xx user guide) to 3 or more slave in stereo output station application mode in PPWC

if yes, please provide details

    Hi Nishant, 

    We have a upper limitation on the number of channels we can support at 4. 
    What you describe is possible, but only for 4 mono channels.

    On the master side, select a application role that has 4 channel downstream audio, set audio interface to DSP and set up the respective DSP to logical channel mapping in the audio streaming panel of the PPWC.

    On the slave side, select Stereo headphone with dynamic selection as the application role.Enable Dynamic channel selection using a button in the audio streaming panel and set up the correct dynamic to logical mapping in the same panel. Finally, select a GIO to be associated with dynamic channel selection in the IO mapping panel.
