I just figured out that I have a PCM2900c chip on the PCM2906cevm board. I am having a problem recording audio, it doesn´t detect the noise from the mic.
Thanks

Hi, David,
Unfortunately, we made a mistake and assembled some boards with the wrong IC, and these got out before we found out the error.
Please return this board to the place you bought it and ask for a replacement.
Alternately, you can request a free PCM2906C device from our website and change the part out yourself.

Hi David:
Do you try to use line in to record the music? Because our EVM input don't have the MICBIAS to make the MIC work, you should add a external MICBIAS to make it work. And default setting can make the board work.
Hi David:
What's your part series? Usually the MIC's input is very small. And need PGA to increase the MIC voice.
You can find in this application note.http://www.ti.com/lit/an/sbfa020/sbfa020.pdf
Hi David:
Below is the PCM2912's user guide. You can refer to this schematic. And you should use external MICBIAS like VDD to replace the MICBIAS pin.
