Hi ,
I am working on LM48511 amplifier.
I wonder about output power. In datasheet on page 10, figure 7, we can see that with PV1=7.8V, output power will be 3W/8Ohms @0.1%THD.
I don't understand how this is possible. If we have 7.8V PWM on amplifier output, audio signal will be 7.8V pkpk, so this means 7.8/2/sqrt(2)=2.75Vrms.
This corresponds to 2.75^2/8=1W.
where is my mistake?
