error reporting TAS5611A

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5611A

Hello,

I have sketch a picture of the error reporting of the TAS5611A. Is it correct?

Thank you for your help.

  • Hi Dirk,

Pretty close, just the OTW1/2 warnings go away at their respective trigger points 100C and 125C. Also note that the temp warnings have a range, SD can for example trigger as low as 145C or not until 165C.

  • Hello,

thank you for your answer and for your correction.

    OTW1,OTW2:

I know my mistakes with OTW1 and OTW2, now. I thought that the OTWhyst refers to OTW1 and OTW2, but it is indepent. You have also painted so.

    OTE:

There is one thing, that is understandable. You sketch the resest possible point, so that OTE has no hysterese. That means OTE enable above 155C and disable, if the temperature is under 155C. But in the datasheet I found following information:

    Can you explain it, please?

    Thank you advance.

    Yours faithfully

  • Hi Dirk,

Actually that was my mistake! The hysteresis applies to both OTW and OTE, I didn't catch that. So you're right they have to fall 25C below the trigger point. Your original drawing is correct. Sorry about that.
