PCM2906 - 0Hz

Hello!
 
Is it possible to change PCM2906 input frequency range down  to 0 Hz, to acquire DC voltage directly?
 
I tried to bypass input capacitors, but chip automatically settle to it`s virtual ground (1.66V).
The output don`t have limitations and work fine at DC levels. (The offset 1.66V is not problem.)
 
By the way, chips from company C-MEDIA (CM6206), input go to 0Hz.
 
Do you have any chip that have USB port and can do this?

    Hi, Zvone,

    Welcome to e2e, and thanks for your interest in our products.

    Unfortunately, I was not involved in the development of this IC, but I can tell you we often put dc-blockers in our designs to prevent DC from blowing up speakers.

    So, perhaps that is the situation with the PCM2906.

    I doubt any of our other PCM2x devices will work down to DC, either.
