I think this question may be also in other thread, but please let me ask.

My understanding is following,

*PCM1795/PCM1792 does not meet with DSD 128fs and PCM 384KHz because there are no description in D/S

*But, PCM1795 /PCM1792 can be work under those conditions,( some client use in their product via their own risk)

Is my understanding is right?

Hello Shibatani-san,

Unfortunately PCM1792 and PCM1795 do not support DSD 128fs at all because DSD core only supports 64fs.
So far there are no actual equipment information we have which supports DSD 5.6MHz by using our PCM179x devices. Regarding PCM 384kHz, same situation. Neither PCM1792 nor PCM1795 do not support 384kHz. No guaranteed and no example.

How TEAC can do this? Using TI PCM1795 with 5.6M DSD playback.

Hello Ho-san,

Sorry to say TI does not guarantee any spec related to DSD 5.6MHz for PCM1795. Actually PCM1795 PCLK range is up to DSD 5.6MHz but no spec definition or internal test is done. Customer may build the application on their own evaluation.
