TPA6211A1 Circuit Application Question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA6211A1

We are using the TPA6211A1 amplifier and we connect to the headphone output of our computer with a mono connector and we connect an 8 ohm speaker to the output of the TPA6211A1.

When we play any sound files through the amp the output is not very loud.

We tried this at both 3.3Volt supply and 5 Volt Supply. Both inputs have a series capacitor (0.22uF) and resistor (19.6k) on both the inverting and the non-inverting inputs.  The non-inverting input has the audio signal applied to it and the inverting signal is tied to audio signal ground.

Our target board will have a Variscite VAR-SOM-AM33 supplying the audio to the amplifier circuit (image below).

We need the output to be very loud since the environment will be outdoors in an industrial area. Can the TPA6211A1 be used in this application, are we using the part incorrectly?
