Hello,

My customer is now trying to evaluate PCM5102A on PCM510xEVM-U without CodecControl software and any of digital block (like USB, SRC and so on).

(PCM5102A already mounted on board instead of PCM5102)

Here I tried to summarize what we need to change EVM setting, can you please check below and let me know, if I miss something?

Remove all of jumpers of W3 (This is to disconnect PCM5102A side from digital side.)
Use TP9 through TP15 to access to input of PCM5102A
- Input signals can be applied from TP10(SCK), TP11(BCK), TP12(DIN) and TP13(LRCK).
- Some function select signal also can be applied from TP9(FLT), TP14(FMT) and TP15(XSMT).
PCM5102AEVM-U still can be powered by USB connector, but if necessary, 3.3V can be applied from TP20 after removing W4 jumper.

Sorry we missed your post. Did your customer get this working?

We also found out that we had a couple logic routes floating, so we had to add some pull-downs on those traces. I am not sure if your board has that fix, or not.

I am also moving this thread to the Audio Converter e2e.

I have consulted with customer and now evaluation board is up and running without CodecControl SW and digital side.

So, this can be closed.
