120W mono class d with 100V output line

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5630B

Hi All

This is my first post here, I am starting my first Audio Amplifier project and I need Help to get started.
My design requirements are

Class D Mono 120W for 4 ohm Speakers

output should be 100V without use of heavy step up transformers to feed the speakers through 100V distribution network

I would also like to be able to control Volume digitally

I would ask for help in getting started for this design , I will like to buy soem evalaution/development kits also

thanks in advance

  • Hi, Dost,

welcome to e2e and thanks for your interest in our devices.

Unfortubately, we don't have much info on 100V systems.

We have the LME49830 which might work, but I can't really offer you much support on it, and we don't have an EVM for it.

You could also look at the tas5630b and use a low ratio step up transformer. That is probably your best bet.
