Hi,Team,
I was wondering why our the idle state of Ternary PWM have a small plus, and the two pulse have a delay between them? It is in the state of low-side recycle, but why we can't keep it to the GND?

Hi, Flora,
I may be wrong, but I believe this is some random dither we add to prevent tones from occurring.

Hi,Don,
Thank for your reply. It maye be the answer.
we have a 1SPW PWM on TPA3118,which is similar to Ternary, but is not one thing.1SPW can reach to GND,but in the page 21,it mention:"This can cause ringing in the audio reconstruction filter unless
care is taken in the selection of the filter components and type of filter used".I try to view it maybe the reason Ternary make small pulse replace GND.
But I am so sorry I can't figure it out why it be GND can result ringing.
Because many customer ask us Ternary PWM,1SPW advantage and how to use it,so I want to make it clear to give some guidence.

Hi, Flora,
I think we have your first audio project when you get to Dallas!
Please write an app note describing the different modulation schemes. If you want, please start working on an outline now, and we can discuss it via email.
