My customer has been evaluation with AIC3104 for VCS(Video Conferencing System) application, but had some technical questions as below.
They want to know to detect Mic one input between Mic1 and Mic2, and how to detect the output among SPK, Headset1 and Headset2.
I attached the customer’s diagram.
1st question: Is it possible to distinguish which Mic is inserted into the jack between Mic1 and Mic2 to select the Mic Input?
How can monitor the status of Mic when inserting into the jack?
2nd question: Is it possible to distinguish which Headset is inserted into the jack between Headset1 and Headset2 to select the Output?
How can monitor the status of Headset when inserting into the jack?
3rd question: My customer has two Headsets as attached Diagram; Headset1 consists of HPLOUT and HPROUT, Headset2 is HPLCOM and HPRCOM.
But the Headset output is stopped around 30 seconds later after power up when inserting the Headset2.
My customer read the register, but the register is in power down.( page 0, registers 75, 72 )
Why this problem is occurred and how can solve this problem?
Please help to give some comments and proper solution. Thank you.
