TPA2028D1 Correct Power supply requirement

Hi,

I am a bit confused on the power supply requirements for the TPA2028D1. The charactersitics sections says it will need up to 2.7 mA at 3.6V - this seems a little too good for 880 mW. The graph looks like it will need 270 mA - but I get 972 mW. What is the correct current demand for 2.5/3.6/5V?

The information you are looking for can be found on page 11 of the datasheet, figure 21 and figure 22 (I have copied it below):

The characteristics section is for the idle state.

Hi Alan,

Looks like I misread your post. The current consumption follows the graph on page 11. You are reading it correctly, as I mentioned, that table is for the amplifier in an idle state.
