Customer is evaluating TAS5710 and it is difficult to satisfy “Figure 39/40 Power Loss Sequence” in their system.

Please advice what will happen when power loss occurred and Figure 39 and 49 are not satisfied.

Customer is concerned of the damage of TAS5710 and Speaker.

Could you advice about possibility of damage?

Hello Don-san,

Customer is evaluation their own board and experienced that TAS5710 is damaged(PVCC/AVCC current increased).

So please answer above my question as soon as possible.

Ushikubo-san,

Sorry for the delay.

It will not damage the IC.

I assume it will also not damage the speaker, as it will be an energy-controlled short event.
