We would like use DC coupling to differential inputs driving them in a manner similar to high performance ADC's using a THS4521. We would set the common mode voltage to 1/2 the Analog ADO output from the 3254 so that the system CM would be 0.9V.
The data sheet seems to highly encourage capacitive inputs. Is there any fundamental reason I'm missing. The data sheet refers to the inputs as fully differential. What does that mean if we can't operate them at DC?
Has anyone experienced issues using DC inputs with common mode equal to the 0.9V CM of the 3254.
Thanks
